Working with Mahdie Niazee, a talented jewelry designer from Iran, has been an incredible experience. Her unique creations blend ornamental stones and silver, drawing inspiration from intricate Islamic patterns and crafted entirely by hand. Each piece showcases meticulous attention to detail, seamlessly combining precision, elegance, and timeless artistry.
Our studio has had the privilege of photographing Mahdie’s collections multiple times, but in this showcase, we’ve curated two distinct series that highlight her exceptional work. The first series adopts a minimalist approach, focusing solely on the jewelry. By avoiding patterned backgrounds and detailed clothing, the intricate designs take center stage, allowing their delicate beauty to shine. Soft lighting was carefully used to enhance the gentleness, refinement, and fine craftsmanship of each piece.
The second series introduces a more personal narrative, featuring the gracious collaboration of Nooshin, who participated despite her age and physical challenges. Captured in a home setting, these images evoke warmth, authenticity, and connection. This approach invites viewers to imagine their grandmothers or loved ones wearing these beautiful pieces, creating a sense of empathy and relatability.
